Shipping & Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, delivery is free of charge on orders over £50.00 (excl VAT) to one address in the UK mainland. Surcharges may apply to Scottish Highlands and some Scottish Mainland addresses. Where applicable customers will be informed of the value of the surcharge before any payment is taken. For delivery to other addresses, please contact our sales department for a quotation. Delivery is to your site entrance and does not include positioning and unpacking. Any quoted delivery dates are approximate. It is the responsibility of the customer (not Classic), to ensure adequate access and the available dimensions are correct. The customer will be liable for any aborted delivery charges. Goods are not sold on a trial basis. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the specifications of the product are suitable before ordering. Warranty may be invalidated of the goods are not suitable for its application. Any damages and shortages must be signed for as damaged or short, and reported at the point of delivery, as claims are invalid after 24 hrs. Deliveries signed for as received in good condition or unchecked will be the customer's responsibility. Once they have been signed for in this manner, any claims for damage or shortages will be rejected.
Privacy and Security
Classic Retail Systems is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent, and do not provide customer information to third parties. We endeavour to ensure that the information we hold is up to date and accurate. You can check the information that we hold about you by contacting us.
If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code.
If we intend to transfer your information outside of the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This may include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
Returns & Replacements
Authorisation should be sought from Classic prior to returning incorrectly ordered goods. Such returned goods will only be accepted if they are packed in their original packaging and a restocking charge of 25% will be applied. Any additional carriage charges will be passed on to the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain proof of delivery of returned products. Damaged and unpackaged product will not be accepted.
Ordering
All orders are subject to our full terms and conditions of sale, which are available on request. All prices are correct at time of publishing. Classic Retail Systems reserves the right to amend pricing and all pricing shall be confirmed at the time of order. E&OE.
Whilst every effort has been made to provide current photographs, descriptions and specifications Classic Retail Systems and all featured manufacturers reserve the right to change specifications, illustrations, model numbers and appearance of any item without prior notification and therefore will not be held responsible for any variations.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
All price matching is at the discretion of Classic Retail Systems and is subject to change at any time. Price match must include competitors applicable shipping, handling and sales tax charges. Our price guarantee does not apply to competitor's bonus offers, free offers, auction websites, non-retrail websites, group buying schemes, private sales, special orders, typographical errors, clearance sales, liquidation sales, mail-in rebate offers, or where a service commitment is included in the transaction.
Internet competitors must include shipping and handling charges as the basis for comparison. Additionally, we must be able to verify that it is the exact same product in brand-new condition and available for immediate delivery. Where applicable if a £10.00 credit is offered of your next purchase that purchase must be over £200+ vat and excludes delivery charges.
Warranty Claims
Where a parts and labour warranty is applicable it covers the attention and replacement of parts due to mechanical breakdown. Incorrect operation, negligence, cleaning, programming, adjustments, and issues affected by a third party are not covered. In such cases a charge will be made. Where a parts only warranty is applicable, a charge will be made for the labour content. 'Dead on Arrival' cases should be advised within 24 hours of delivery. Under no circumstances are we liable for consequential loss. Each request for service will be assessed at the point of the request whether to send out a service contractor or whether to replace the unit. In the case of replacement, a service exchange or b grade product may replace it, subject to the unit's age. We will attempt to attend or resolve service requests within seven days. Some items within are sold with manufacturers warranty and are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer. Where items carry a back to base warranty, postage for warranty returns is payable by the customer.
